The first Arabic Language course was held at the Muslim
World League, Goodge St. in 1998. The tutor was Dr V Abdul
Rahim author of the Medina books. The response to the
course was very good with some students coming from as
far as Luton. The course led to the publication of Let's
Begin to Read Arabic - book and CDs.
The second Arabic Language course was also held at the
Muslim World League, Goodge St. in 2000. The tutors were
Tarek an Nawaam and Dina Maan from the Al-Fajr centre
in Cairo. Three levels were offered on this monthly course
held over two months.
A one day course for women held at the Muslim World League,
Goodge St. in the summer of 2000 was well received. With
three different speakers, the topics were enlightening.

The two weeks Islamic Studies course held at the Muslim
World League, Goodge St. in 2000 was delivered by Sh Muhammed
Syed Adly from South Carolina. The Introductory course
touched on Islamic Jurisprudence, Hadith and the Quran.
Sh Muhammed S. Adly is the author of Arabic for Beginners
books 1 and 2, Short Surahs and Make Wudu and Salah.
The yearly Hajj seminars held at different venues delivered
by Ismael Davids, author of Getting the Best out of
Hajj ran continiously for four years from 2000 to
2003. The very informative and educational seminars took
one on a journey that defined the essence of Hajj - from
getting your visa, what to take and not to take to how
the Hajj is performed. Many questions were answered and
participants felt assured of performing the Hajj.
Life of Imam Bukhari by Dr Hesham Al Awadi One day course
which took place at the London Muslim Centre on the 16th
January 2005. 'The course was fantastic' a
participant, 'Excellent' another participant.
Message of Islam has
completed its first Arabic language course at Brunel University.
The level 1 course for beginners ran for 16 weeks. The
focus of the course was on personal pronouns, vocabulary,
masculine and feminine, singular, dual and plural, asking
and answering questions and making simple sentences. Modules
used were on Introduction, Family and Travelling.
