About Us
Message of lslam
is a registered charity, whose aims are the enhancement
of Islam and the education of the public in Islamic
traditions, culture and history. The charity
is run on book sales and is not reliant on public funds.
The aims are achieved
by publishing books and organising lectures, seminars
and courses. We have organised over 20 lectures, seminars
and courses. Message of Islam has published CDs,
Videos, posters, cards and over 40 books.
We have supported various Universities
with their Annual dinners and organising lectures.
Started in 1996 by organising events in
West London, publishing started soon after. We opened
a bookshop in Crawford street London W1 in November
1999 and became a registered charity in June 2001. The
bookshop closed in August 2004 due to congestion charge
having an affect on sales.
We are still publishing
and distributing.
